Denkbar ist, dass nach mehreren Monaten Vorlauf viele Leute auch inaktive Virus-Teile in sich tragen und so positive Testergebnisse produzieren, und die 'zweite Welle' normale Grippesaison ist. Man kann sich dann noch fragen, 'warum gerade Melbourne?' Zum einen, Cluster sind nicht ungewöhnlich, zum anderen, für eine Grippesaison ist der Verlauf in anderen Metropolen eher flach. Das kann an den stringenten Corona-Maßnahmen liegen.
