ich hatte ja geschrieben, daß ich mich außerstande sehe, @Kosh in seine geistigen ... äh ... Höhen zu folgen.

Aber mit dem hier von Parmenides kann ich etwas anfangen, auch wenn es mir mit dem Verstand in ähnlicher Weise nicht zu fassen scheint wie z.B. das Tao te King von Laotse.

Sag' mal, wo hat der das denn her, der Parmenides?

Er ist der erste Grieche, der mir begegnet, dessen Aussage bzw. Weisheit sich wesentlich zu decken scheint mit dem, was ich sonst nur von Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj kenne, der z.B. folgendes sagt:

Beispiel 1:
"In the supreme state, no. This state is entirely one and indivisible, a single solid block of reality. The only way of knowing it is to be it."

Beispiel 2:
Q: "God made a most diversified world."
M: "The diversity is in you only. See yourself as you are and you will see the world as it is -- a single block of reality, indivisible, indescribable. Your own creative power projects upon it a picture and all your questions refer to the picture."

Beispiel 3:
Q: "Are there levels of awareness?"
M: "There are levels in consciousness, but not in awareness. It is of one block, homogeneous. Its reflection in the mind is love and understanding. There are levels of clarity in understanding and intensity in love, but not in their source. The source is simple and single, but its gifts are infinite. Only do not take the gifts for the source. realise yourself as the source and not as the river; that is all."

Den Parmenides werde ich sicher noch ein paar Mal lesen.
